Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 13+ years in cloud engineering, DevOps, or related field (equivalencies allowed).
• Hands-on IaC experience with Terraform or equivalent tools (CloudFormation, ARM, or Bicep).
• Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Azure services (compute, storage, networking, identity, security).
• Proven ability to build and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.
• Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, PowerShell, Bash or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain IaC to enable repeatable deployment of Azure environments for AI platforms and analytics.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation across DevSecOps tooling.
• Implement automation for environment configuration, compute provisioning, and infra operations.
• Support containerization strategies (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Instances).
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Automate data quality checks and validation workflows to improve reliability.
• Maintain infrastructure baselines, tagging, and naming conventions for governance.
• Support cloud deployments for pilot AI applications ensuring scalability and security.
• Develop architecture diagrams, runbooks, and IaC repositories for operations.
• Collaborate with government security teams to maintain DevSecOps and compliance posture.
