Job summary

Boys Town is seeking a Cloud Architect to join our Converged Infrastructure team in Omaha. You will design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP, collaborating with IT, security, and business stakeholders.

You will lead migration efforts, establish architecture standards, and guide cloud engineers and DevOps teams, focusing on resilience, efficiency, and cost optimization. Requires 5+ years in cloud architecture and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud-native architecture and infrastructure
• Experience with security, compliance, and regulatory environments
• On-call work including outside business hours may be required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience
• Cloud certifications such as AWS/Azure/Google are preferred

Responsibilities

• Architect solutions on AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Use IaC to build reusable components and automation
• Create blueprints and roadmaps for cloud systems
• Oversee migration of applications with minimal downtime
• Conduct POC trials for cloud solutions
• Architect secure environments with IAM and encryption
• Define cloud standards and best practices
• Maintain architecture diagrams and documentation
• Guide cloud engineers, developers, and DevOps teams
