JDSAT is seeking a Cloud Architect to design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and related IaC tools. The role requires DoD environment experience and on-site collaboration 2–3 times weekly to align with client needs.

The candidate should have hands-on Kubernetes deployment experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with cloud observability and security controls. Clearance or ability to obtain clearance is expected.

Competenze

• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS preferred; GCP or Azure also acceptable).
• Extensive experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Hands-on experience deploying applications with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud observability and monitoring tools, ensuring infrastructure health and performance.
• Experience working within a DoD Enterprise environment, with a deep understanding of DoD-specific protocols and requirements.

Mansioni

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Develop and communicate future plans for the Cloud Infrastructure team, ensuring they align with organizational goals and client needs.
• Collaborate with the Cybersecurity and Accreditation team to provide necessary information for government approvals, including DoDAF architecture diagrams, build plans, and security controls.
• Coordinate with Application Development teams to ensure infrastructure meets developer requirements and enhances the end-user experience.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure complies with DoD Enterprise requirements, including adherence to security guidelines and frameworks.
