Job summary

Tieto Banktech is seeking a Software Architect for its Card Issuing unit in Bergen. You will help modernize and scale our modular Cards platform, with experience in payment card tech and cloud platforms (AWS).

You will contribute to strategic initiatives including AI and data analytics, and potentially serve as Customer Architect for strategic clients. You will join a dynamic team responsible for architecture governance, ensuring security and compliance while driving architectural excellence

Qualifications

• Experience as an architect or technology with hands-on expertise leading complex modernization projects with API ecosystems.
• Lead cross-functional teams and architect communities, fostering collaboration across technology, product and compliance.
• Operationalize architecture governance, presenting to boards and ensuring security/compliance alignment.
• Agile mindset and results orientation, driving innovation and strategic technology roadmaps.
• Ability to take on Customer Architect role for large strategic customers over time.
• Eagerness to contribute to a large, dynamic organization with architectural tasks ahead.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a team with product and system responsibility to Card solutions.
• Participate in migration from legacy to cloud-native services, ensuring resilience and compliance.
• Develop and roll out a secure, scalable API developer portal for onboarding and integration.
• Contribute to enterprise architect team and architecture boards, upholding principles and standards.
• Participate in solution reviews to ensure alignment with security and compliance requirements.
• Communicate artifacts, decision logs and updates to maintain transparency across teams.
