EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks a Cloud Architect (AWS) to lead cloud-native application modernization and solution architecture for an automated modeling platform on AWS.

You will design scalable execution environments and data integration pipelines, partnering with clients to deliver production-ready outcomes. Responsibilities include end-to-end architecture decisions, orchestration design with Step Functions, and implementation of AWS Batch with EC2 Auto Scaling for parallel runs.

Qualifications

• Must have end-to-end solution architecture ownership and deliver production-ready modernization outcomes.
• Strong collaboration with clients and partner teams to align requirements and architecture.
• Experience optimizing performance and reliability of cloud-based model execution.
• Proficient in English (Upper-Intermediate) for client communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture decisions for modernization workstreams.
• Design cloud-based model execution environments on AWS and orchestration frameworks.
• Implement parallel execution using AWS Batch with EC2 Auto Scaling Groups.
• Build automated workflow orchestration with AWS Step Functions for triggering scenarios.
• Design data integration pipelines from Amazon Redshift to simulation software.
• Develop APIs to connect simulation tooling with the data platform.
• Establish performance measurement and optimization for model execution.
• Modernize legacy modeling workflows to leverage cloud-native scaling and automation.
• Align integration requirements with client leads and partner teams.
• Mentor associates and staff on modernization patterns and cloud-native practices.
