Job summary

State of Washington Office of the Secretary of State is seeking a Cloud App Developer to design, develop, and implement cloud-based applications and services across OSOS IT. The role emphasizes scalability, security, accessibility, and adherence to best practices in SDLC.

You will analyze requirements, collaborate with stakeholders, and work with DevOps to ensure reliable deployment and operation of cloud infrastructure, including CFD and statewide applications for internal and external users.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in applications development, including design, development, and maintenance of applications using industry-standard tools and languages.
• Experience with relational databases (MS SQL or equivalent) and supporting database development, queries, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in Microsoft .Net environment: C#, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core, AngularJS/Angular, VB.NET, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, jQuery, TSQL, PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains cloud-based applications and services.
• Designs and implements cloud architecture to meet business requirements.
• Collaborates with DevOps to ensure efficient deployment and operation of cloud infrastructure.
• Ensures code quality and adherence to OWASP guidelines and SDLC best practices.
• Participates in continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration to integrate new approaches with existing systems.
