Job summary

The Office of the Secretary of State (OSOS) seeks a Cloud App Developer to advance core IT applications and data management across statewide systems. This permanent, full-time role focuses on analysis, design, development, and deployment of cloud-based CFD and related applications serving 80k+ state employees.

The incumbent will ensure accessibility, security, and compliance with state standards, working under IT leadership within OSOS to modernize and innovate existing systems.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in applications development using industry-standard tools, frameworks, and programming languages.
• Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL; development in Microsoft .Net environments (C#, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core).
• Proficiency with front-end technologies including AngularJS/Angular, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with coding standards, security practices, and SDLC methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains cloud-based applications and services for OSOS IT systems.
• Designs cloud architecture to meet business requirements and aligns with security standards.
• Collaborates with DevOps to ensure efficient deployment and operation of cloud infrastructure.
• Performs code reviews and ensures code quality and OWASP guidelines are followed.
• Supports continuous improvement and knowledge sharing among team members.
