Genesis10 is seeking an Application Architect for a 12+ month contract in Jacksonville, FL. The role focuses on end-to-end design and delivery, ensuring software meets functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements with maintainability and testability built in from the start.

The candidate will lead technically, guide CI/CD practices, and mentor the team while delivering complex features and architecture components. Strong experience in multiple languages and databases is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of solid experience as a Software Engineer.
• Proficiency in Python, Ansible, Java and Bash scripting.
• Deep understanding of data structures and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL).
• CI/CD experience and automated testing delivery.

Responsabilités

• Code solutions and unit tests to deliver requirements per acceptance criteria.
• Design and modify architecture components, interfaces, and solution enablers.
• Mentor engineers and coach CI/CD practices and automation.
• Refine stories, define requirements, and estimate work.
• Perform proofs of concept to mitigate risk or explore new ideas.
• Automate release activities and maintain automated test suites.
• Deliver complex features and enable development efficiencies.
