Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. seeks a strategic leader to shape the multi-year vision for Akamai Cloud developer tooling, APIs, and platform integrations. You will bridge architecture with product strategy, defining roadmaps and developer tooling (CLI/SDKs) across the Cloud platform.

You will partner with engineering to align API design, OpenAPI standards, and governance while driving unified Developer Experience across platforms. This role emphasizes AI-first workflows and enterprise tooling.

Responsibilities

• Crafting and driving the multi-year vision, product strategy, and execution roadmap for Akamai Cloud developer tooling
• Modernizing brownfield enterprise API paths while elevating API quality, consistency, and platform performance
• Pioneering next-generation developer interfaces for AI agents and LLM-driven workflows using Model Context Protocol endpoints
• Collaborating with engineering on API design guidelines, OpenAPI standards, schema governance, and API Gateway capabilities
• Overseeing product development for official developer tools including CLI, SDKs, and Infrastructure as Code providers
• Influencing strategy of streamlining and unifying the Developer Experience across multiple platforms to ensure consistency and efficiency.
