Job summary

Akamai Cloud Technology Group seeks a strategic leader to own the multi-year vision for cloud APIs, developer tooling, and infrastructure integrations. You will bridge architecture with product strategy and drive execution of the developer platform.

You will collaborate with engineering on API standards, evolve OpenAPI guidelines, and guide official developer tools such as CLI and SDKs. This role shapes developer experience across Akamai's cloud and edge platforms and enables AI-first workflows.

Responsibilities

• Crafting and driving the multi-year vision, product strategy, and execution roadmap for Akamai Cloud developer tooling
• Modernizing brownfield enterprise API paths while elevating API quality, consistency, and platform performance
• Pioneering next-generation developer interfaces for AI agents and LLM-driven workflows using Model Context Protocol endpoints
• Collaborating with engineering on API design guidelines, OpenAPI standards, schema governance, and API Gateway capabilities
• Overseeing product development for official developer tools including CLI, SDKs, and Infrastructure as Code providers
• Influencing strategy of streamlining and unifying the Developer Experience across multiple platforms to ensure consistency and efficiency.
