Qualifications

• Minimum education: Bachelor's degree and 8+ years in information security or technology, or HS diploma with 12+ years of experience.
• 5+ years leading technical security teams.
• Deep hands-on experience with securing AWS and Azure at enterprise scale.
• Strong knowledge of cloud IAM, networking, encryption, monitoring and logging.
• Proven experience securing AI/ML systems or leading security for data science and AI platforms.
• Experience with cloud security tooling, posture management and controls development.
• Strong understanding of threat modeling, risk management, and secure architecture principles.
• Excellent communication skills to influence senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Security Strategy: develop information security strategy, roadmaps, and direction; lead change management and threat identification.
• Program Management: oversee security teams and technologies; implement complex solutions and process improvements; ensure compliance and service standards.
• Managerial Functions: set expectations, adjust policies, manage performance and training; budget or vendor management as needed.
• Security Resource: provide training, mentorship, and security awareness to protect assets.
