Job summary

Elevance Health, Inc. is seeking a Cloud & AI Security Architect to enable, mature, and operationalize cyber defense across Elevance Health’s cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).

You will partner with Cloud Infrastructure, Detection Engineering, and Security Operations to deploy, monitor, and continuously improve cloud-native security telemetry, detection, and response capabilities. Qualifications

• BS/BA in Information Technology or related field required.
• 10+ years of experience in systems administration and security aspects of information systems, access management and network security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to integrate cyber defense and security operations into enterprise and subsidiary cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
• Partner with cloud infrastructure and application teams to ensure proper logging, telemetry, and security controls are enabled and validated.
• Define roadmap for cloud cyber defense, including CSPM, threat detection, logging pipelines, and incident response integration.
• Train SOC analysts on triage, investigation, and remediation of cloud security alerts.
• Collaborate with security operations and IR teams to investigate complex cloud security events and support remediation.
