Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking an Apparel Processing Outfitter to manage the end-to-end processing of apparel shipments—from receiving to stocking the Sales Floor. You will ensure compliance with Visual Merchandising & MPS standards and use the inventory system for efficient backroom operations.

Responsibilities include replenishing stock, staying aligned with advertised sales, unloading trucks as needed, and maintaining signage and pricing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with inventory management systems preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle loading/unloading as needed.
• Detail-oriented with merchandising standards and visual guidelines.

• Process apparel shipments at receipt and stock on floor per standards.
• Replenish merchandise to sales floor per standards.
• Stay informed on advertised sales to assist backroom organization.
• Unload trucks as needed.
• Assist with pricing maintenance and signage.
• Keep work area clean, organized and stocked.
• Maintain organized backstock and accessibility.
• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a pleasant visit.
• All other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Apparel Processing Outfitter is responsible for the overall processing of all apparel merchandise shipments from receipt of goods to stocking on Sales Floor & Receiving.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Effectively processes all apparel merchandise at time of receipt, adhering to all Visual Merchandising & MPS Standards, and utilizing the inventory management system. 50%
• Systematically replenishes merchandise to the sales floor as required per the Visual Merchandising Standards utilizing the inventory management system. 10%
• Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales to promote effective backroom organization and replenishment. 10%
• Unloads trucks as needed. 10%
• Assists with pricing maintenance and signage of merchandise. 5%
• Keeps work area clean, neat, organized and well stocked with supplies. 5%
• Ensure backstock merchandise remains organized and accessible. 5%
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all guests. 5%
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

• Ability to use company computer systems and devices such as System Two, RF/Gizmo devices & Point of Sale register system.
• Ability to process and organize information to include plan-o-grams, visual guides & merchandising standards.
• Ability to review replenishment reporting to organize merchandise to fill the sales floor.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other outfitters.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers.
