Job summary

Scheels is hiring a part-time team member in Minot, ND. The role involves stocking, tagging, and arranging merchandise, while ensuring accurate counts and timely processing of shipments. You will support the sales floor, assist the Support Team, and use inventory systems to track items.

A dedication to customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. High school diploma or GED and some data entry experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tag, fold, hang and price merchandise for the sales floor or back stock.
• Distribute items to correct Specialty Shop.
• Order and organize all supplies for processing.
• Organize checked in freight by date.
• Hang and fold merchandise to the needs of the SSM.
• Teach and train all PT associates in Hang/Fold.
• Handle incoming merchandise with accuracy to ensure correct counts.
• Attach identification and price tags to products.
• Operate pallet jack to move shipments between areas.
• Maintain speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate organization and multi-tasking with problem-solving.
• Navigate PC and handheld inventory systems (Microsoft Office, Google Email/Docs, AS400).
• Dress and act professionally, contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
