Job summary

Murdoch's is seeking a Clothing Lead to oversee the Clothing department and partner with the Assistant Store Manager to uphold merchandising standards and develop the team. You will create daily worklists, supervise stocking and pricing tasks, and drive excellent customer service across the department.

You will lead staff development, maintain signage, and ensure store appearance while modeling Murdoch's values and policies. This is a hands-on, leadership role in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Exceptional merchandising ability.
• Strong communication, written and interpersonal skills.
• Complete multiple specialist certifications within clothing dept or equivalent experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency with Windows-based computers and Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

• Create daily worklists for the Clothing department team members.
• Merchandise, stock, re-stock, and recover products within the department per merchandising standards.
• Complete inventory pricing and maintenance duties.
• Display signage for sales, promotions, events, and vendor assets.
• Develop product knowledge and provide training to clothing team members.
• Practice service-oriented leadership across the store and department.
