The Goddard School located at 4960 Mercantile Road Baltimore, MD 21236 is seeking a dedicated Closing Teacher to join our team. You will collaborate with Lead and Assistant Teachers to implement engaging educational programs and activities, provide classroom support, and adapt to evolving educational needs of our school community. Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Empathy and compassion for young children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, children and families.
• Must pass required state background checks and meet state education/credential requirements.

Responsibilities

• Available until 6:00 pm (start times are flexible).
• Enhance lesson plans and activities in collaboration with Lead and Assistant Teachers.
• Provide flexible classroom support to ensure a consistent and high-quality educational experience.
• Organize and prepare engaging classroom materials and learning centers.
• Supervise and engage with children indoors and outdoors, ensuring safety and social development.
• Collaborate and communicate transparently with families about children's progress and achievements.
• Maintain clean and inviting classrooms adhering to health, safety and licensing regulations.
• Assist with daily care routines and tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment.
