Job summary

Goldcrest Title Services is seeking a detail-oriented Closing Specialist to review title commitments, coordinate closings, and prepare settlement packages. You’ll manage deadlines, communicate clearly with clients and partners, and ensure accurate disbursements across multiple loan products.

With 3+ years in closing roles, you’ll leverage knowledge of title insurance processes and, if available, Resware or similar systems to support a smooth closing process for buyers, sellers, and lenders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years closing experience in title insurance or real estate settlement.
• Knowledge of closing requirements across loan products.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines independently and collaborate with a team.
• Resware or similar software experience is a plus; multi-state experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Review title commitments, vesting, taxes, payoffs, and lender instructions; coordinate clearances and endorsements.
• Schedule closings and notary appointments, confirm details, and answer pre-closing questions.
• Prepare and review Closing Disclosures and settlement statements, fees, and closing packages.
• Review signed documents, resolve corrections, and coordinate timely disbursements.
• Maintain client and partner communications, respond to inquiries, and keep accurate files.
• Escalate complex issues and suggest process improvements; assist training teammates.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Review title commitments, vesting, taxes, payoffs, and lender instructions; coordinate clearances and endorsements.
• Schedule closings and notary appointments, confirm details, and answer pre-closing questions.
• Prepare and review Closing Disclosures, settlement statements, fees, and closing packages.
• Review signed documents, resolve corrections, and coordinate accurate, timely disbursements.
• Keep clients and transaction partners informed, respond to inquiries, and maintain accurate file records.
• Escalate complex issues, suggest process improvements, and help train team members. Occasional overtime may be required.

WHAT YOU BRING

• At least 3 years of closing experience, preferably in title insurance or real estate settlement.
• Knowledge of closing requirements across loan products.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines independently and collaborate with a team.
• Resware or similar software experience is a plus; multi-state experience is helpful, not required.
