Job summary

The Closing Agent in Florida is seeking an experienced title professional to join the Ocoee Market Team. This hands-on role handles processing and closing of Florida residential transactions from start to finish, collaborating with Realtors, lenders and customers to ensure a smooth, timely closing.

You will review title commitments, manage lien searches and closing documents, conduct in-person and remote closings, and own the transaction to resolve issues quickly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of direct title insurance processing and/or closing experience.
• Experience with Florida residential real estate transactions.
• Experience reviewing title commitments and clearing title requirements.
• Working knowledge of documents, parties and deadlines in residential closings.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple active transactions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer-service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of solutions.

Responsibilities

• Process Florida residential purchase, refinance and cash transactions.
• Review title commitments and identify and clear title requirements.
• Coordinate lien searches, estoppels, payoffs, surveys and other transaction requirements.
• Work directly with Realtors, lenders, attorneys, buyers and sellers.
• Identify title or closing issues and escape matters appropriately when necessary.
• Prepare files and documentation for closing.
• Conduct in-person and remote closings.
• Review closing documents with buyers and sellers.
• Coordinate outstanding items necessary to keep transactions on schedule.
• Assist with post-closing matters when needed.
• Provide responsive, professional customer service throughout the transaction.
