Job summary

Kisling, Nestico & Redick, LLC (KNR) in Ohio seeks a Closing Paralegal to provide clerical support on prelitigation files under Attorneys and the Paralegal Manager.

You will prepare and review documents, communicate with clients and insurance adjusters, and handle administrative duties for case closure, including settlement paperwork and disbursements, while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience in related field such as insurance and/or medical billing, insurance verification or accounting.
• Prefer Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate

Responsibilities

• Case management and logging daily mail; drafting correspondence as needed.
• Assist Attorneys with document preparation and review.
• Coordinate with clients, attorneys, and insurance adjusters on case status.
• Prepare files for litigation transfer when necessary.
• Assist with settlement paperwork and disbursements.
• Attend quarterly meetings and maintain consistent attendance.
• Produce weekly reports.
