Job summary

TitleSmart, Inc. is seeking a Closing Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of title company experience to join our team in Edina, MN. The role focuses on accurate file handling, multi-tasking across closings, and growing within TitleSmart.

Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with salary based on experience. Daily tasks include opening and updating files in SoftPro, drafting CPLs and preliminary disclosures, and coordinating close dates.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of title experience required.
• SoftPro Select experience strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient computer skills, software use, and typing.

Responsibilities

• Open files through SoftPro Select.
• Update SoftPro with changes and new information.
• Create preliminary E-CRV’s for closing.
• Schedule closings and send appointment notifications.
• Draft Closing Protection Letters (CPL’s) and Closing Disclosures.
• Send out title commitments to lenders, borrowers, agents, and real estate closers.
• Perform escrow accounting and disburse funds for closings.
• Prepare closing documents for buyers and sellers with accuracy.
• Understand and read title commitments and assist post-closing tasks.
