Job summary

Richelieu is a leading North American distributor, importer and manufacturer of specialty hardware serving cabinet, storage and office furniture industries. The Customer Service Representative will handle orders, quotes, showroom assistance, and sales follow‑ups with strong teamwork and a customer‑centric focus.

This full‑time role reports to the Operations Manager and emphasizes accuracy, timely communication, and problem solving across a large product catalog and a diverse customer base.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service role.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work with sales team and showroom staff.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• AS400 experience preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and provide sales quotes.
• Coordinate with outside sales reps on orders and quotes.
• Assist walk‑in customers in the showroom with questions and orders.
• Solicit new or supplementary sales in showroom and over the phone.
• Research product solutions to resolve customer issues.
• Hours are Monday to Friday, dayshift.
