Job summary

Newman Rehab and Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Nursing Assistant | RN to support and manage Nursing Services for residents under physician orders. You will partner with the DON to supervise around the clock and guide the Nursing Department to meet federal, state, and company standards.

The role requires an active RN license in the practicing state, with preferred AS/BSN, and prior LTC/SNF/AL/MC supervisory experience. Excellent communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a RN in the state in which you are practicing.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred
• Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
• Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support and carry out the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents per physician orders and resident needs.
• Provide 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and direct the Nursing Department to uphold quality standards.
• In the absence of the Director of Nursing (DON), assume responsibility for clinical operations.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As aClinical Nursing Assistant | RN, you will be responsible for supporting and carrying out the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and total needs of the residents. In partnership with the Director of Nursing (DON), you will be responsible for the 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with current Federal, State and The Company standards, guidelines, and regulations. In absence of the Director of Nursing (DON), the Clinical Nursing Assistant| RN, assumes the responsibility for clinical operations.
