You will be a member of the Expert Resource Team supporting Long-Term Disability Claims Teams within our Group Insurance Business. We have offices in Newark NJ, Portland ME, and Scottsdale AZ, with many staff working virtually.

The current work arrangement for this position is fully virtual. While regular on-site presence is not required, there may be occasions to work at a Prudential office depending on business needs.

What you can expect:

In this role, you will review medical documentation in case files to determine medically supported restrictions and limitations for clients. You will collaborate with claims teams, physicians, return-to-work coordinators, and vocational departments to manage claims effectively.

Responsibilities include:

1. Review and assess complex illness and injury claims.
2. Identify restrictions and limitations based on physiological, psychological, and social factors to assist claim management.
3. Assist in strategy development and utilize clinical, vocational, or other resources, requiring analytical and critical thinking skills.
4. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally to document assessments, contact providers, and engage with team members and resources.
5. Work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license.
• At least 2 years of acute care experience.

Preferred:

• Prior insurance industry experience.
• Experience with Long-Term Disability (LTD) products.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range is from $78,700 to $117,300, depending on location, experience, and skills. We offer competitive salaries, bonuses, comprehensive health benefits, retirement plans, wellness programs, educational assistance, stock purchase options, and more.
