You will be a member of the Expert Resource Team supporting Long-Term Disability Claims Teams, part of our Group Insurance Business. We have Long-Term Disability offices in Newark NJ, Portland ME, and Scottsdale AZ, with many staff working virtually.

The current work arrangement for this position is fully virtual. While it does not require regular on-site presence, there may be occasions to be on-site at a Prudential office.

What you can expect:

In this role, you will review medical documentation to determine restrictions and limitations for clients, collaborating with claims teams, physicians, and vocational departments to manage claims effectively.

Responsibilities include:

• Review and assess complex illness and injury claims
• Identify restrictions and limitations based on physiological, psychological, and social factors
• Assist in strategy and appropriate utilization of clinical, vocational, or other resources
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally to document assessments and engage with providers and team members
• Work independently with minimal supervision

Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• At least 2 years of acute care experience

Preferred:

• Prior insurance industry experience
• Experience with Long-Term Disability products

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range is $78,700 to $117,300, with benefits including bonuses, insurance, 401(k), pension, wellness programs, education benefits, and more.
