Job summary

Family Services seeks a Behavioral Health Training and Internship Supervisor in Poughkeepsie, NY. This exempt, full-time role oversees clinical onboarding, training modules, and intern supervision, partnering with Behavioral Health leadership and HR to meet learning needs and improve workforce development.

You will coordinate internships, recruit partnerships with colleges, and ensure interns are prepared for clinical licensure and employment within the agency, while maintaining quality training

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an LMSW or LCSW (NY LIC).
• LMSW must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in clinical training and/or supervision post licensure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical onboarding, trainings, and job aids for Behavioral Health staff and interns.
• Collaborate with SMEs and Behavioral Health leadership to develop and deliver clinical training.
• Create and update onboarding materials, modules, and course documentation.
• Coordinate onboarding for new clinicians including workflows, EHR navigation, and documentation expectations.
• Develop training manuals and multi-format materials (in-person, remote, e-learning, videos).
• Serve as internship liaison with schools, manage affiliation agreements, and recruit college partners.
• Provide weekly supervision to clinical interns and evaluate progress with schools and leadership.
