Job summary

Terros Health seeks an On-Call Clinician Technician in Phoenix, AZ to provide a safe, supportive residential environment, engage clients in skills training, and coordinate care. You will conduct screenings, assessments, treatment planning, crisis management, and oversee medication processes.

You will support clients with Independent Living Skills, health and wellness, personal assistance, and vocational training, while contributing to a team that promotes recovery and community reintegration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, plus 1.5 years of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting.
• An Associate’s degree in a related field.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a non-related field, plus 1 year of behavioral health experience.
• Arizona DPS Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card may be required for some assignments.

Responsibilities

• Screenings, assessments, treatment planning, case load management, crisis management and coordination of care.
• Direct client support in Independent Living Skills (ILS), health and wellness promotion, personal assistance, rehabilitation and vocational training services.
• Oversee the medication process and submit clinical documentation.
• Participate in residential setting duties and support flexible on-call shifts.

As an On-Call Clinician Technician you will provide a safe and secure environment for our clients in a residential setting, engage them in skills training, designed to enhance functioning leading to community integration and self-sufficiency in living, learning, social and work environments. You will be responsible for screenings, assessments, treatment planning, case load management, crisis management and coordination of care.

You will provide direct support to our clients, engaging them in Independent Living Skills (ILS) activities, health and wellness promotion, personal assistance services, rehabilitation and vocational skills, training and development services, transportation services and crisis management. You will be responsible for overseeing the medication process and submit clinical documentation.

Select from available shifts and work only when you want to. Great for students or anyone looking to supplement their income.

These positions are typically offering On-Call shifts in 8-hour blocks, on A, B, and C shifts (see below) depending on the location’s need and availability. Most facilities are open all 7 days of the week, so there is opportunity for supplemental income on Weekends and Evenings.

• A Shift – 7:00am – 3:30pm
• B Shift – 3:00pm – 11:30pm
• C Shift – 11:15pm – 7:15am

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, plus one and a half (1.5) years of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting; or
• an Associate’s degree in a related field; or
• a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or
• a Bachelor’s degree in a non-related field, plus one (1) year of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Some assignments require an Arizona DPS Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Some assignments require a current Arizona Driver License and a current satisfactory 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Must be 21 years of age
• Background Check
• Minimum 1 year recovery from drugs and/or alcohol
• Minimum typing speed of 25 wpm
• Possession of, or the ability to obtain, the following:
  • CPR and First Aid certifications
  • Evidence of freedom from infectious pulmonary tuberculosis
