Job summary

HOPE ~ HEALTH ~ HEALING in Phoenix is seeking an On-Call Clinician Technician to provide safe, supportive care in a residential setting. You will engage clients in skills training, screen and assess, plan treatments, manage caseloads, and coordinate care with the clinical team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 1.5 years of relevant behavioral health experience, or an Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in related field, or a non-related degree with 1 year in behavioral health.
• Arizona DPS Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card may be required.
• Current Arizona Driver License and a satisfactory 39-month MVR may be required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Background Check required.
• Minimum 1 year recovery from drugs and/or alcohol.
• Minimum typing speed of 25 wpm.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Freedom from infectious pulmonary tuberculosis.

*This is a BHT level Clinical role, which does not require a license.

As an On-Call Clinician Technician you will provide a safe and secure environment for our clients in a residential setting, engage them in skills training, designed to enhance functioning leading to community integration and self-sufficiency in living, learning, social and work environments. You will be responsible for screenings, assessments, treatment planning, case load management, crisis management and coordination of care.

You will provide direct support to our clients, engaging them in Independent Living Skills (ILS) activities, health and wellness promotion, personal assistance services, rehabilitation and vocational skills, training and development services, transportation services and crisis management. You will be responsible for overseeing the medication process and submit clinical documentation.

This position offers the flexibility to pick up additional shifts as you'd like. Select from available shifts and work only when you want to. Great for students or anyone looking to supplement their income! These positions are typically offering On-Call shifts in 8-hour blocks, on A, B, and C shifts (see below) depending on the location’s need and availability. Most facilities are open all 7 days of the week, so there is opportunity for supplemental income on Weekends and Evenings.

Shift Schedule

• A Shift – 7:00am – 3:30pm
• B Shift – 3:00pm – 11:30pm
• C Shift – 11:15pm – 7:15am

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, plus one and a half (1.5) years of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting; or an Associate’s degree in a related field; or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or a Bachelor’s degree in a non-related field, plus one (1) year of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Some assignments require an Arizona DPS Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Some assignments require a current Arizona Driver License and a current satisfactory 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Must be 21 years of age
• Background Check
• Minimum 1 year recovery from drugs and/or alcohol
• Minimum typing speed of 25 wpm
• Possession of, or the ability to obtain, the following:
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Evidence of freedom from infectious pulmonary tuberculosis
