Job summary

Terros in Turney Apartments, Phoenix, AZ 85014 seeks an On-Call Clinician Technician to provide a safe, supportive residential environment and engage clients in skills training to promote independence and community integration. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or higher.

• Arizona DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card required for some assignments.
• Current Arizona Driver License and acceptable MVR may be required for some assignments.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• BackgroundCheck required.
• Minimum 1 year recovery from drugs and/or alcohol.
• Typing speed minimum 25 wpm.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Evidence of freedom from infectious pulmonary tuberculosis.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client support including Independent Living Skills activities, health and wellness promotion, personal assistance services, rehabilitation and vocational skills, training and development, transportation, and crisis management.
• Oversee medication process and submit clinical documentation.
• Shift flexibility and on-call availability to support staffing needs.

As an On-CallClinician Technicianyou will provide a safe and secure environment for our clients in a residential setting, engage them in skills training, designed to enhance functioning leading to community integration and self-sufficiency in living, learning, social and work environments. You will be responsible for screenings, assessments, treatment planning, case load management, crisis management and coordination of care.

You will provide direct support to our clients, engaging them in Independent Living Skills (ILS) activities, health and wellness promotion, personal assistance services, rehabilitation and vocational skills, training and development services, transportation services and crisis management. You will be responsible for overseeing the medication process and submit clinical documentation.

These positions are typically offering On-Call shifts in 8-hour blocks, on A, B, and C shifts (see below) depending on the location’s need and availability. Most facilities are open all 7 days of the week, so there is opportunity for supplemental income on Weekends and Evenings.

Shift Schedule

• A Shift – 7:00am – 3:30pm
• B Shift – 3:00pm – 11:30pm
• C Shift – 11:15pm – 7:15am

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, plus one and a half (1.5) years of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting; or
• an Associate’s degree in a related field; or
• a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or
• a Bachelor’s degree in a non-related field, plus one (1) year of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Some assignments require an Arizona DPS Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Some assignments require a current Arizona Driver License and a current satisfactory 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Must be 21 years of age
• Background Check
• Minimum 1 year recovery from drugs and/or alcohol
• Minimum typing speed of 25 wpm
• Possession of, or the ability to obtain, the following:
  • CPR and First Aid certifications
  • Evidence of freedom from infectious pulmonary tuberculosis
