Job summary

The Center for Family Services in Phillipsburg, NJ is seeking a Clinician to maintain a caseload and provide therapy in various modalities including individual and group sessions. Candidates should have a Master's Degree in a relevant field and a valid New Jersey license. Job description

Clinical hours and free Clinical Supervision Available!

The Clinician will maintain a caseload of clients and provide treatment in a variety of modalities such as individual, group, and family. The Clinician will also collaborate and work closely with the psychiatric staff for those receiving medication. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of mental health issues, be knowledgeable in assessment, evidence-based treatment, trauma informed care, treatment planning, diagnosis, and discharge planning. Our candidate will have the ability to problem solve and work independently. Excellent computer and organization skills are a must

Location: Phillipsburg, NJ

Salary: $55,000 per year

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive holistic assessments of children, adolescents, adults, older adults, who are sexual abuse survivors; involve family members as indicated.
• Develop individual and family focused treatment plans which are goal directed; involve family members as indicated.
• Provide individual, group and family therapy to children, adolescents, adults, older adults, clients with sexual assault history through TFCBT model
• Coordinate treatment with other Center for Family Services programs and services.
• Coordinate treatment planning with DCP&P, schools, the Prosecutor's Office, Probation, Parole, IDRC, Office on Aging and other relevant agencies and services.
• Complete evaluations and treatment progress notes in accordance with agency policies.
• Complete reports to be submitted to DCP&P, the Court, the Prosecutor's Office, Probation, Parole and IDRC on a timely basis.
• Meet with supervisor on a regular basis.
• Be familiar with community resources and refer clients as indicated.
• Participates in regularly scheduled department meetings and attends scheduled administrative/clinical meetings
• Takes responsibility for professional development and meeting licensure requirements for maintaining credentials through attendance at relevant workshops and seminars
• Participates in Center and Program performance improvement activities.
• Attend and participate in clinical supervision and team as well as any required meetings as deemed necessary
• Maintain 70% productivity levels
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements (Qualifications):

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field, from an accredited University
• License for practice in New Jersey (LAC/LPC, LSW/LCSW), in good standing
• 2 years supervised experience in working with mentally ill clients
