Job summary

HCRS (Health Care & Rehabilitation Services of Southeastern Vermont) seeks a dedicated Clinician to engage with children and families during distressing periods and guide them toward wellness.

The role emphasizes teamwork, culturally informed care, and collaboration with interdisciplinary staff to design effective treatment plans and address mental health and substance use needs in underserved communities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related field.
• Vermont license (LICSW/LCMHC/LADC/LMFT) or rostered eligibility.
• Experience with children and families in distressing situations.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have:

• Master’s Degree + minimum 2 years of direct service experience (preferred)
• Current Vermont License (LICSW, LCMHC, LADC, LMFT) or ability to be rostered
• Ability to conduct clinical assessments and design treatment plans that target clearly identified treatment goals
• Knowledge of mental health, substance use, social work and behavioral issues that impact children and their families
• Healthy communication skills that allow for honest discussions, feedback, and exchanges
• Ability to work well with a team and demonstrate flexibility when client, program, and/or agency needs require it
