About the Department:
The Section of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine is dedicated to excellence in patient care, education, scholarly activities, and community engagement. We focus on prevention, screening, diagnosis, and treatment of adult elderly patients with diverse medical conditions, serving in outpatient settings across Baylor Medicine Clinic, Baylor St. Luke's CHI Hospitals, Houston Methodist Hospital, Harris Health System, and others. Our educational mission includes a large Geriatrics fellowship, a palliative care fellowship affiliated with MD Anderson, and teaching roles for medical students, residents, and physician assistants.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a full-time Clinician/Educator for the House Call Service, providing primary care for homebound elderly patients in Harris County, including home safety evaluations and transition of care visits. Ideal candidates are patient-centered and committed to high-quality care and education.
Job Responsibilities:
Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual (Spanish) speakers are preferred.
