Job Summary

The Division of Hospitalist and General Internal Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting full‑time outpatient general internists for our growing practice.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in a faculty group practice with eleven other internists
  • Teach medical students and supervise residents in the outpatient setting
  • Increase access to primary care at Baltimore City and Reisterstown ambulatory locations
  • Provide efficient and timely transitional follow‑up for patients recently seen in the ED or discharged from the hospital
  • Help expand transition‑of‑care services from the hospital to outpatient, increasing outpatient volumes, access, and chronic disease management
  • Leverage our telemedicine platform to increase access to care for patients
  • Assist with training and co‑management of patients with residents in our outpatient clinic in Baltimore City
Compensation

Expected faculty rank is Assistant Professor. Salary range is $173,216 (minimum) to $276,350 (maximum). The range reflects base pay based on faculty rank and years in rank. Final compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, and other factors such as geographic location, skills, and market conditions.
