Job summary

Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is seeking a Children's Clinician to work with youth and families in Marion County. The role is based in Columbia, MS, with hours Mon-Fri 8a-5p. You will provide clinical therapy, document sessions in EMR, and develop treatment plans for consumers, coordinating referrals as needed.

Requirements include a Master's in behavioral health, driver's license with clean record, and reliable transportation to serve the community. A professional license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
• Must obtain a Class D commercial driver's license within 60 days of hire
• Reliable transportation required to provide services in the community

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical therapy services and emergency services to consumers and their families.
• Documents each session using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Develops treatment plans for each consumer and is able to make referrals to other programs as needed.
• Participates in team staffings and functions as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team
• Uses information obtained in clinical observations to suggest diagnosis and estimates severity of condition
