Job summary

Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is seeking a Residential Crisis Clinician to provide counseling at the Harrison County Diversion Center in Gulfport, MS. The role supports adults with serious mental illness, working Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Preferred candidates hold a Master’s degree in behavioral health and a clinical license. The position involves crisis counseling, team collaboration, and documentation of progress.

Qualifications

• Requires Master's degree in behavioral health field.
• Clinical license preferred but not mandatory.
• Must obtain Clinical license or DMH Therapist certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Ask appropriate questions as required by clinical intake documentation.
• Assist consumer in establishing realistic therapeutic goals.
• Participate in team staffings and interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Provide clinical therapy services and emergency services to consumers and families.
• Provide written records of consumer progress.
• Use observations to suggest diagnosis and severity of condition.

Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is actively seeking a caring and diligent Residential Crisis Clinician to provide counseling services at our Harrison County Diversion Center located in Gulfport, MS. The Residential Crisis Clinician position plays a vital role in PBMHR's ability to provide crisis counseling services to adults with a serious mental illness diagnosis. This position is Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Previous experience in a residential setting and/or with SMI diagnoses preferred.
