Job summary

Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources in Richton, MS is seeking a Child and Youth Clinician to provide mental health services for children and youth with serious mental illness.

This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with no on-call duties. A Master's degree in behavioral health and the ability to obtain licensure within 90 days are required.

Responsibilities

• Ask appropriate questions per clinical intake documentation to elicit information.
• Assist consumer in establishing realistic therapeutic goals.
• Participate in team staffing and interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Provide clinical therapy services and emergency services to consumers and their families.
• Provide written record of consumer's progress through the therapeutic process.
• Use information obtained in clinical observations to suggest diagnosis and severity of condition.

PBMHR has an opening for a child and youth Clinician to provide services at a mental health center in Richton, MS. This position would work with children and youth with a serious mental illness diagnosis. This will be a full time Monday through Friday position from 8a to 5p and no on call duties.
