CMHA is looking to hire a Clinician Assessment Specialist for a Waterbury, CT based program (Mon - Fri - 9am - 5pm).
Position Summary: Serves as an active part of a team that provides in-home assessment to parents and children who present with significant needs such as parental substance use, mental health instability, basic needs, legal and parent-child attachment needs. Families are referred by DCF with children (from birth to age 17) who were removed from their home due to protective service concerns with a goal of reunification. The Clinical Assessment Specialist will provide clinical and non-clinician support to our clients with the goal of acquiring the skills necessary to become effective parents, who can ensure a safe and secure family and home environment for their children to reunify back into their care.

Compensation Range: $57k- $76k a year plus a $5,000 sign-on incentive for new hires. Incentive will be paid in two installments, after 6 months of employment and 1 year of employment. Starting salary will be determined based on relevant years of experience.
