What you’ll be doing

In a patient facing Admissions role at ERC Pathlight, you can expect to be a part of a team that drives the mission and introduces it to prospective patients, family members of those in need of care, and medical professionals who refer their patients. This role is fully remote and operates Monday through Friday from 12:30 to 8:30 Mountain Standard Time.

This is a fast-paced, patient-facing role that integrates clinical evaluation with case management, serving patients daily in various capacities. The position involves assessing patients' needs, coordinating care, and providing ongoing support throughout the admission process. Key responsibilities include:

Level of Care Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments by phone for individuals with various mental health disorders, determining the appropriate level of care and line of service.

Clinical Justification & Diagnosis: Provide clear, documented clinical justification for the determined level of care and establish a preliminary diagnosis based on patient interaction.

Care Coordination: Facilitate the admissions process by gathering necessary records and coordinating communication among a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, dietitians, case managers, discharge planners, and other healthcare professionals.

Program Information Presentation: Present the ERC Pathlight program and its services in a comprehensive and welcoming manner, ensuring prospective patients understand their treatment options.

Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about their level of care recommendation and the potential benefits of the proposed treatment.

Information Documentation: Collect and document complete patient information, including communications, contact details, and insurance information, in an organized and thorough manner.

Referral & Resources: Make referrals and provide appropriate resources to patients as needed.

Other Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned by the management team.

Must Haves

Master’s degree in mental health field is required.

Candidates must have a provisional license or clinical license (LSW, LMSW, LCSW, LPCC, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, etc.)

Experience with assessments and admissions highly preferred

Experience with eating disorders preferred but not required

Compensation starting range for the Clinical Assessment Specialist role is $52,000 to $67,500. Ranges are based upon market expectations and are dependent upon candidate experience.
