This full-time clinical role provides trauma-informed services within a multidisciplinary team to support individuals, families and communities in need. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Behavioral Health with CT licensure as a clinician.
• 2 years of experience in recovery-oriented behavioral health care.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed clinical services including triage, crisis intervention, assessment, therapy, and referrals.
• Complete all required documentation per procedures.
• Coordinate care with hospitals, jails, shelters and other providers.
• Meet productivity standards and participate in staff meetings and trainings.
• Support new service delivery models and community outreach.

Summary

Accountable for independently providing trauma informed clinical services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provides trauma informed clinical services in form of triage, crisis intervention, assessment, individual, group and/or family therapy, screening, treatment planning and referral within a multidisciplinary team and departmental coverage for staff absences
• Completes all required documentation related to client treatment in accordance with established procedures
• Provides coordination of care and referral with other community agencies i.e. hospitals, emergency rooms, jails, homeless shelters, outpatient programs, etc.) and consults and collaborates with other behavioral/ medical health providers.
• Meets productivity standard for the position and role
• Attendance and participation in participation in all required departmental staff meetings, all provider meetings, supervision ( including peer) meetings including but not limited to systems feedback, problem solving, and support for development protocols which enhance service delivery.
• Participation in trainings to bring new service delivery options to clinical care ( ie EMDR, ART etc)
• new models of treatment , evidence based practices)
• Internal capacity building ( i.e. staff embedded in schools, community outreach and education)
• Performs related duties as required
• All agency staff are required to attend all mandatory department/agency meetings and trainings*

Schedule

Full Time, 40 hours a week, Monday - Thursday between 8 am - 7 pm, Fridays 8 am up to 5 pm, clinicians are expected to work at least one late night until 7 pm.

Requirements

Education &/Or Experience:

Master’s Degree in Behavioral Health discipline from an Accredited University advanced Licensure in the State of Connecticut as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Psychologist, ( LCSW, LPC, LMFT) with 2 years experience in recovery orientated system of care in a behavioral health.
