Job summary

Connecticut Renaissance, Inc. is seeking a licensed behavioral health professional to provide individual and group therapy, assessments, and outpatient services in Connecticut.

The role includes coordinating care, completing treatment plans and discharge paperwork, and maintaining accurate EHR entries. The candidate will work with referral sources, participate in meetings, and adhere to licensing and funding requirements while supporting agency outcome measures.

Qualifications

  • Master Degree with Licensure in Behavioral Health (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) or Associate Licensure (LPCa, LMFTa, LMSW) in CT.
  • Additional LADC a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience in behavioral health field.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain flexible schedule to perform clinical assessments, provide individual/group therapy and intensive outpatient services.
  • Secure initial insurance authorization and all required concurrent authorizations throughout care.
  • Complete all treatment planning and discharge documentation according to policy.
  • Input all clinical documentation in Connecticut Renaissance's EHR accurately and timely.
  • Communicate with referral sources on the status of each client's progress and performance within the program, including the preparation of reports.
  • Participate in all required internal and external meetings.
  • Provide urinalysis/breathalyzer testing when indicated and within guidelines of monitoring.
  • Attend all required trainings to enhance knowledge and skill level
  • Adhere to licensing, accreditation and funding source requirements.
  • Meet thresholds for program and agency outcomes measures.

Education and Experience:
  • ? MasterDegree with Licensure in Behavioral Health (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) or AssociateLicensure (LPCa, LMFTa, LMSW) in CT. Additional LADC a plus.
  • ? Minimumof 3 years of working experience in behavioral health field.
  • ? Experiencein trauma informed care preferred.
  • ? Experiencewith substance abuse clients, co-occurring diagnosed clients and criminaljustice population preferred.
Other:
  • Mustbe dependable and reliable; detailed oriented; and able to interfaceeasily with clients, staff, and referral sources.
  • ?Must be able to carry up to 20 pounds.
  • ?Must successfully complete the introductoryprobationary employment period.
  • ?Must have a valid CT driver's license
