NFI North is seeking a Clinical Coordinator for Summit View, a community-based residential treatment program for six adolescents located in Bangor, Maine. The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for providing all clinical services for the program, is part of the program management team and provides on-call consultation and support. The clinical coordinator supervises the clinical case manager and together provide residential, HCT, and aftercare services.
This position will conduct assessments, work in collaboration with staff and management team to provide quality service, coordinate discharge, facilitate therapeutic groups, provide clinical guidance to staff, participate in on call rotation, act as liaison with outside providers, ensure quality and compliance with funding source regulations and provide individual counseling as appropriate.
Flexibility, high energy, creativity, computer proficiency and good communication skills are required. Ability to facilitate a positive working and living atmosphere is essential.
The position requires a master’s degree in social work or human services and a minimum of three years’ related experience working with individuals living with mental health needs in some capacity. The position requires the person to be a Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors (LCPC), conditional licensure is accepted.
