Job summary

NFI North, Inc. is seeking a Full Time Residential Counselor for Summit View in Bangor, ME. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, supportive environment and supervising participants while delivering crisis intervention and case management/advocacy as needed.

We welcome candidates with a High School diploma or higher and prefer Bachelors or Associates in Human Services; certifications such as BHP, CRMA, and First Aid/CPR are a plus and flexibility in scheduling is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in human services preferred but not required.
• BHP, CRMA and First Aid/CPR certifications are a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule on occasions when needed is also a plus.
• High School or better; preferred in Human Services or related field.

Responsibilities

• Residential Counselors are responsible for day to day operations including maintaining a safe and supportive environment for participants, supervision of participants, crisis intervention, case management/advocacy and all related documentation.
