Job summary

You will supervise the clinic team, support instructors and participants, and assist with laboratory operations.

The role requires a DVM/VMD, Tennessee license, and at least five years of clinical experience, with willingness to work evenings or weekends for events and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) from AVMA-accredited institution.
• Active veterinary license in Tennessee.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical veterinary experience; instructional background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide veterinary oversight for live animal programs and ensure compliance with USDA, AVMA, and IACUC standards.
• Oversee anesthesia, surgical preparation, operative support, and post-operative care.
• Maintain accurate procedure records and controlled substances documentation.
• Support educational delivery, coordinate CPE activities, and supervise clinical staff.
