Job summary

Viticus Group in Las Vegas seeks a Clinical Veterinarian to provide veterinary oversight, clinical expertise, and operational support for hands‑on medical education programs. The role focuses on animal welfare, regulatory compliance, and high‑quality participant education across the Animal Health service lines.

You will supervise live animal laboratories, ensure IACUC/USDA/AVMA compliance, support instructors and staff, and manage documentation and program activities including the Clinical

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD from AVMA‑accredited school.
• Active Nevada veterinary license.
• Minimum 5 years clinical veterinary experience.
• Shelter medicine experience preferred.
• Knowledge of USDA, DEA, IACUC compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide veterinary oversight for live animal programs and ensure USDA/AVMA/IACUC standards.
• Oversee anesthesia, surgical prep, operative support, and post‑operative care.
• Maintain accurate procedure and controlled substance records.
• Advise on policies for safe animal handling and disease prevention.
• Coordinate clinical education activities and supervise staff.
• Support CPE planning, scheduling, and examiner coordination.
• Collaborate with instructors and program managers to enhance delivery.
