Job summary
Chicago Behavioral Hospital, located in Des Plaines, IL, seeks a Utilization Review Coordinator to oversee the UR program, implement case management strategies, and ensure effective treatment plans for patients. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in psychiatric/mental health settings, with a nursing, social work, or related degree and Illinois licensure.
Qualifications
- Education & Licensure: Degree in nursing, social work, mental health/behavioral sciences, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: At least 3 years direct clinical psychiatric/mental health experience; one year managing a related function preferred.
- License: LSW, LPS, LCSW, or LCPC or applicable Illinois license preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Utilization Review Program and implement case management scenarios.
- Consult with all services to ensure effective treatment plans for patients.
- Interface with managed care organizations, external reviewers, and payors.
