Job summary

The University of Chicago's Department of Surgery, Section of Urology, is seeking full-time Clinical Associates for renewable terms of up to three years. Appointees will provide inpatient and outpatient care to support the faculty, including office visits, ambulatory procedures, advanced surgery, and on-call duties.

Teaching or scholarly activity is not required. The program operates on the Hyde Park campus with affiliated sites at Orland Park, the South Loop, and River East outpatient

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent required.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Illinois and Indiana.
• Board certification or eligibility with ABU or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient and outpatient patient care to support faculty in Urology.
• Office visits, ambulatory procedures, advanced robotic/laparoscopic surgery, and on-call duties.
• No teaching or scholarly activity required.
