Job summary

The MetroHealth Department of Surgery in Cleveland seeks full-time academic faculty at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level to join the Division of Urology. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive adult urologic care, participate in inpatient and outpatient clinics, and contribute to medical student and resident education.

Applicants must hold an MD or DO, be board certified or board eligible in urology, and be eligible for Ohio licensure.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Board-certified or board-eligible in urology.
Eligible for medical licensure in Ohio.
Demonstrated commitment to academic medicine, education, and research.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first approach.

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive urologic care for adult patients.
Perform a full spectrum of urologic procedures (endoscopic, stone management, prostate interventions, oncology surgeries, robotic surgery).
Participate in inpatient consultations and outpatient clinics.
Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
Engage in scholarly activities, including clinical research and publications.
Contribute to departmental quality improvement and multidisciplinary collaboration.
