Qualifications

• BSN or ADN with commitment to obtaining BSN within five years.
• Minimum three years of acute care nursing experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical setting (Charge Nurse, Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, or equivalent role).
• Knowledge of maternal-child health populations and services.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and nursing process skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to lead and mentor nursing staff.
• Professional nursing certification(s) relevant to clinical practice and leadership

Responsibilities

• Lead staffing and staff development; hiring, orientation, performance monitoring, and corrective action.
• Provide clinical assessment, mentoring, coaching, and direct patient care as needed.
• Plan staffing levels and unit goals within budget and patient needs.
• Coordinate daily operations and prioritize patient services.
• Drive quality, patient service, and accreditation standards.
