Job summary

Sturdy Memorial Hospital is seeking a Unit Coordinator to perform clerical, receptionist and unit coordinating duties on individual patient care units. The role operates within SMH policies and CDC/OSHA guidelines to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

Requirements include at least 1 year of clerical experience or one nursing school semester with clinical, plus strong secretarial and organizational skills, and a high school diploma. Salary range: $17.64–$26.58 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of clerical experience / 1 full semester of Nursing School with Clinical
• Excellent secretarial skills
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills in a professional manner, good organizational skills, personal maturity, accuracy and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical, receptionist and unit coordinating duties on individual patient care units.
• Function within policies, procedures and guidelines of SMH in accordance with CDC and OSHA standards.
• Coordinate activities on the unit to support patient care and operations.
