Job summary

Laulima Government Solutions, LLC is seeking a Staff Supervisor (Clinical Trials) to support a government customer in Silver Spring, Maryland. The role involves supervising laboratory, front desk, and recruitment staff, mentoring personnel, onboarding new hires, and ensuring compliance with GCP, FDA and military regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree coupled with at least three (3) years' supervisory experience.
• Prior supervisory experience in a clinical research and/or scientific setting is highly preferred.
• Must be able to work independently following a brief period of specific technical training.
• Must have excellent communication, organization and prioritization skills.
• Must be able to work both independently and in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide guidance and direction to the laboratory, Front desk, and recruitment staff at the CTC.
• Mentor, counsel, develop, implement, and monitor corrective action plans and assess performance annually.
• On-board new personnel and act as liaison between the CTC Manager and support staff.
• Coordinate communications between all CTC staff and ensure adherence to GCP, FDA and military regulations.
• Familiarize staff with SOPs and SSPs and assist in long-range planning and logistics for special projects.
• Assist in clinic organization, procurement, and return of clinic equipment, inventory, and purchasing system.
• Review protocol inclusion/exclusion criteria, informed consent processes, and study schedules.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collections as required, and supervise weekend tasks.
• Assist nurses in site preparation and required logistics for clinical study execution.
