Job summary

The University of South Florida is seeking a Clinical Research Associate to support the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences in Morsani College of Medicine. The role involves screening/enrollment, regulatory filing, data collection, and management of study files for clinical trials, ensuring HIPAA and institutional compliance throughout the process.

The position is onsite, Monday–Friday, grant-funded, and does not sponsor visas.

Qualifications

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a field directly related to the program responsibilities and one year of professional experience; or Master's degree in an area of specialization appropriate for the program.
Senate Bill 1310 allows substitution of work experience for postsecondary education requirements as applicable.
Direct experience in clinical research, regulatory filing, and recruitment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversees screening and enrollment of participants and may supervise remote screening locations.
Monitors regulatory documents, informed consent, HIPAA compliance, and infection control procedures.
Prepares regulatory filings and IRB related materials.
Collects and analyzes data from clinical trials and creates databases for study information.
Collaborates with social workers and agencies to provide health services related to conditions.
Drafts program reports and provides education to clients and families about protocols.
